The ground is shaking, Amerikkka is changing, the world is changing… the burning house MLK spoke of is on the verge of collapse and instead of praying for strong winds or fleeing for safety like every other group, negros are trying to put the fire out one spoonful of water at a time. Let them, everybody’s not gonna get it. Some people choose not to get it. We cannot squander what little time we have for action debating naysayers and devil’s advocates. The time for talk is over.
Come on fam, look around. We are living the consequeces. What more proof do you need? By 2053 our median wealth will be zero. If we don’t start building rafts today, we’re gonna be up shit’s creek without a paddle tomorrow, arguing and debate won’t matter then. Nor will trying to save everybody and their momma. Nobody’s gonna build a black utopia for us. The Dem Party/NPIC is not gonna build it for us, we’re living in the black Amerikkka specifically designed for us. Black faces in high places aren’t gonna build it for us, their job is it to ‘keep hope alive’. The black clergy ain’t gonna build it for us, their job is to use religion and the promise of salvation to keep negros meek, docile and silent in their suffering. A black utopia doesn’t exist because we haven’t built it… and it won’t exist until we do.
You would think the most wealthy and educated black masses ever in the history of America would be up to the challenge… and ready to step to the forefront. They’re not. They lack vision. They’re broken, afraid… waiting for Jim Crow Joe, Top Cop Kamala and the party of their oppression to save them. Even after all that’s been exposed.
Yes ws exists. Yes, systemic racism exists. And both exist on the left as well as the right. The left isn’t a lesser evil, it is as Malcolm and MLK cautioned, a greater evil… its oppression cloaked in blackfaces, symbolism and tokenism.
At this point, its on us,
“You either work for yourself and your people or you work for your oppressor. Those are the two things that all young people in the United States have to decide, basically, and that they’re not going to participate in their own self-destruction.” – Assata Shakur
