The security failures at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th were fully predictable if you’ve been watching this show for the past few months. D.C. will still have thousands of armed National Guards on hand, plus the looming increases in surveillance and resources law enforcement will inevitably receive for fucking up, will ultimately make conditions more difficult for black and other vulnerable city residents.
