☕ Morning fam,
Again St. Louis is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. We went from Superbowl champs, platinum artists, albums and producers and being a city on the rise to uprisings, riots and being named “Child Murder Capitol”.
St. Louis doesn’t know to win, it kinda stumbles into wins. Nobody expected Kirk Warner. Or Nelly. And nobody knew how to ride that wave. They bumbled… and choked under the pressure of being in the national spotlight. Then did what St. Louis does: self sabotage, whether its’ driving away what made them great, betting on the wrong horse, exploiting race and divisions, manipulating crime/justice and keeping people living in fear and perpetual survival mode in order to keep themselves in power.
That is what’s at the root of the Kim Gardner scandal and why black leaders refuse to hold her accountable. To keep control of the Circuit Attorney’s Office at all costs, even if that means turning a blind eye to Kim Gardner’s incompetence, prosecutorial misconduct, historic crime and lack of justice all of which kills any faith residents have in the justice system and is a threat to public safety. Black victims are collateral damage, the cost of doing business. This is not just true in St. Louis or with Kim Gardner, this result as been duplicated in all Dem run, reform urban cities based on progressives being able to pull it off in St. Louis. If you can get it off in St. Louis under the guise of reform, progressivism or black girl magic, you can get it off anywhere. The very reason they use Ferguson activist turned BLM/Progressive/Dem controlled mouthpiece Cori Bush as the face for ‘birthing people’ and defund.
